Tweet Old Post Plugin
Recently I discovered a WordPress Plugin that allows you to tweet your old posts. I have recently implemented it in some of my blogs and it works like a charm. Now, a lot of you might have various thoughts on this. You might think that retweeting old post is like spamming but that’s where you are wrong. If you believe that your old posts can bring value to your blog and are worth tweeting, then this plugin can come in handy.
We all gain new followers everyday on twitter who are not aware of our previous posts and this plugin can bring in some good discussion back to those posts.
So How Does It Work?
You have to simply set up your twitter username and password and bingo!! Once you have successfully activated the plugin, you will be given several options to configure the plugin.

1. Schedule Your Tweets: This is simply great; this plugin helps you to schedule your tweets so you can set it up at random times. This allows your old posts to be tweeted whenever you want and also how often you want.
2. URL Shortening: You don’t have to manually shorten your blog posts. This plugin will automatically do that for you to fit in the 140 characters.
3. Filter Categories: This plugin also allows you to filter the categories from which you want to pull out posts and tweet. You can set the maximum age of a post to be eligible for tweet
4. Add Hashtags: You can add specific hashtags to each of your posts if you want to. Hashtags can really help you in various ways.

The feature that you mentioned can be accomplished by the option “Categories to Omit from tweets:” hope that helps if you still think there should be some modification please let me know it will be great to extend the plugins functionality .
Twitter is the latest “it” thing in the world of social media. It is easy to use and pretty addictive. However, a lot of people are going about building their following the wrong way… are you?

You are right about the following thing. People use a lot of weird tools to mass follow and get banned. One of my mate tried that out and as we say, we learn from experiences. However, if you follow several people from your same niche and limit to 50 a day, it should be fine
